Selling With Classics
Am I the only person bothered by the use of classical music in some radio and television commercials? For instance, an auto maker is running a commercial that uses part of Mozart’s Requiem.
I am offended when great religious music is used to hawk a product. I am offended when the music used is clumsily altered. And I am puzzled why anyone would want to buy a car that is being marketed with music from the Mass for the Dead.
