A 42-year-old San Diego man was killed when he lost control of his convertible sports car, which flipped over on him, authorities said Monday.
John F. Kenyon was driving about 35 m.p.h. in the 14000 block of Black Mountain Road, in the Rancho Penasquitos area, when he lost control of his car on the dirt road, San Diego Police Sgt. Mike Healey said.
Kenyon’s car struck an embankment and flipped over. “The windshield smashed down on top of him,” according to Healey. Kenyon lived on the 8500 block of Clatsop Lane in San Diego.
