ALR to Build Faster Notebook Computer

IRVINE — Advanced Logic Research Inc., a computer manufacturer, said Tuesday it will launch in August a faster notebook computer that weighs 7.5 pounds.
The computer, which runs at a speed of 20 megahertz, will be priced at $3,195.
Last year, the company introduced a 16-megahertz notebook computer.
