Former Minnesota Viking Brent McClanahan used drugs before he was arrested on a complaint by his wife, a toxicological test showed. McClanahan, who played 10 seasons for the Vikings before retiring in the mid-1980s, will appear in Bakersfield Municipal Court Tuesday on charges of being under the influence of a dangerous drug.
