Sites for Phone Book Recycling

A recycling program for outdated phone books has been set up by Pacific Bell Directory in partnership with North County communities and local waste haulers.
Recycling bins will be available beginning Saturday and continuing through Aug. 4 at:
Argo Stone and Supply in Bonsall; Carlsbad Fire Station and Liberty Recycling in Carlsbad; Liberty Recycling and the City Hall parking lot in Del Mar;
Cardiff Towncenter parking lot, Moonlight Beach parking lot (corner of 3rd and C streets) and Solana Recyclers in Encinitas; Vons on El Norte Parkway, East Valley Parkway and West Felicita in Escondido;
Vons on El Camino Real and Alga in La Costa; MiraCosta College on Barnard Drive, Recycle America of Oceanside and Vons on Oceanside Boulevard in Oceanside;
Rancho Santa Fe Assn. Building in Rancho Santa Fe; The Barn and Liberty Recycling in San Marcos; Earl Warren Jr. High School on Stevens Avenue in Solana Beach; Valley Center Community Hall in Valley Center; and Quality Auto on West Vista Way, K mart on Sycamore and Boney’s Market on East Vista Way in Vista.
