CAM Data Systems’ Earnings Up 82%

CAM Data Systems Inc., a Fountain Valley producer of point-of-sale and inventory management systems, said Thursday that the company would report first-quarter revenue of approximately $2 million.
That represents an 82% increase over the same quarter of the previous year when revenue was $1.1 million.
The company said it also expects to report quarterly earnings as contrasted with a loss of $98,000 for the same quarter a year ago. Actual earnings are not expected to be available until early February.
