Your editorial writer has got it wrong when he asserts that I claim that “the death camp gas chambers were ‘fumigation chambers’ whose targets were lice, not human beings.”
What I do claim is that there were small, professionally designed “gassing” chambers all over Auschwitz used to fumigate clothing and equipment in the German struggle against typhus. No one even charges that people were murdered in them.
The orthodox story is that huge “extermination” gas chambers were improvised at Auschwitz from ordinary mortuary cellars and that the alleged mass murders took place in these rooms. Not likely. If it is true, historians have had half a century to provide us with one wartime-generated document that proves it. None has.
Why not? What’s the problem?
