Countywide : Bar Association Elects New Leader

The Ventura County Bar Assn. has elected J. Roger Myers to a one-year term as president of the 850-member organization.
Myers, 50, is a partner in the Ventura firm of Myers, Widders & Gibson, which specializes in civil and trial law. Myers is an ex-Marine who served in the Vietnam War and is a 1969 graduate of Hastings College of Law in San Francisco. He lives in Ojai and has practiced in Ventura County for 22 years. The group also elected Ventura attorney Dennis O. La Rochelle as vice president and County Counsel James L. McBride as secretary-treasurer.
