‘Get a Life,’ the Serial

This letter is in response to the “Guns on ‘Get a Life’ ” letter (Dec. 28) by Linda Joanou. My first comment to her is “Get a Life!” This show is obviously a comedy series and not meant for someone who can’t take a joke. The show is one of the most refreshing, unique and intelligent comedies on TV.

The “violence” on the Dec. 14 episode was so obviously ridiculous (yet hilarious) that it is unbelievable that someone could take it seriously. Actually, this episode was a satire of the type of TV that is dangerous to our intelligence.
