Raider Fans Seeking Somebody to Blame for an Empty Ending

Todd Marinovich should have been a hero Sunday. After surviving three interceptions and a fumble, the Raiders were sitting pretty with a first down at Kansas City’s 25-yard line. Then, for the fourth game in a row, a combination of mistakes, miscommunication and poor discipline caused the Raiders to fall apart.
If you had never watched football, tuned in Sunday, and were told the Raider coach was a Hall of Fame offensive lineman, you would have laughed. With Todd Marinovich, the Raiders could conceivably dominate the ‘90s, but only if Al Davis cracks the whip. They need coaching and play-calling that will help, not hinder, their young quarterback.
