Two more suspects have been arrested in one of the attacks that have plagued Hillcrest and North Park, police said.
Michelle L. Salisbury, 27, also known as Micheal, and George H. Myrick, 26, were arrested Monday night in connection with a Nov. 6 beating of a man at 6th and University avenues, police spokesman Bill Robinson said Tuesday. Two men reportedly got out of their car and began hitting the victim with a baseball bat and a tire iron.
Salisbury and Myrick are being held on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, jail officials said. Bail for each has been set at $10,000.
Lt. Tom Giaquinto, who heads the North Park-Hillcrest violent-crimes task force, said there is no information tying Salisbury or Myrick to any other attacks in the areas.
