Bobby Ross Decides to Keep Charger Assistant Reilly

Jack Reilly, a Charger assistant under Dan Henning the past two seasons, has been retained by new Coach Bobby Ross. Reilly will continue his role of coaching quarterbacks and coordinating the passing game.
Reilly is the only member of Henning’s staff to be rehired.
Also added to Ross’ staff was Sylvester Croom, 37, who coached running backs for the Indianapolis Colts in 1991 and served in the same capacity for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1987 to 1990.
It has not been decided if Croom will coach offensive backs or tight ends.
Elsewhere, former Charger defensive coordinator Ron Lynn, who was let go last week with the rest of the staff, today is expected to be named defensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals and new Coach Dave Shula.
Lynn might bring two of his lieutenants with him: linebackers coach Mike Haluchack and secondary coach Jim Mora.
