PLATFORM : Whose Rights First?

The ACLU never polled people living near the park or who utilize its recreation area. They should be spending more time defending the liberties of people who use its picnic area and sports facilities.
Where were they when the civil rights of the mother and children shot by gang members were being violated? Gang members use the park to violate the law, like drinking in public, car burglary, graffiti and conspiracy--planning their next attack on victims like me and you.
Banning such activities by gang members benefits the public, so that the law-abiding citizens can use the park without fear of becoming another gang statistic. With so much turmoil between law enforcement and citizens, this is one situation in which both sides see eye to eye.
