A former Lutheran minister defrocked for confrontational protests on behalf of unemployed steelworkers was jailed in Pittsburgh, Pa., facing a parole violation charge. A Pittsburgh Post-Gazette article on Daniel Solberg, 40, jogged the memories of probation officials, who checked his file and found he had not properly registered for probation after his 1988 conviction for defiant trespass. Solberg was arrested for trying to enter Nativity Lutheran Church, from which he had been banned.
