Man Backs Up Car, Runs Over Daughter

SANTA ANA — A 3-year-old girl died Tuesday after her father mistakenly backed over her with his station wagon.
Belinda Ceja died at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana about 3:55 p.m. after sustaining massive internal injuries, police said.
Her father was backing out of the driveway in the 1500 block of East Walnut Street when he heard the vehicle run over something, police said.
When he got out of the car, he saw his daughter lying next to the car, police said. He called police and rushed the child to the hospital.
