Imagine my surprise and delight in seeing my friend and fellow performer Dixie Evans profiled in “Out There.” I followed Dixie around the burlesque circuit many times and once had the honor of being asked to replace her when she became ill and had to cancel the rest of her performances. Dixie was a sweetheart to work with and a wonderful person. It’s nice to know she’s still “vogueing.”
