Mr. Blue Eyes: Word is surfacing that actor Philip Casnoff has landed the assignment of playing Frank Sinatra in the upcoming CBS miniseries based on Sinatra’s life. Casnoff has extensive TV series and miniseries credits and worked on Broadway in “Shogun” and “Chess.” “Sinatra” starts shooting in mid-February.
