I loved Bill Stall’s political piece (Jan. 13) on Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Bruce Herschensohn, truly a self-made man! Herschensohn is absolutely right--the federal government should have a limited role in all our lives.
I only differ with him on one important point, term limits. I feel that none of us mortals are indispensable. If legislators knew going into the job that they would have to return after a certain number of years and live under the laws they themselves created, surely they would spend more time trying to reduce the national debt than in making more laws.
