Recruiting: El Toro lineman Chris Miller has orally committed to play football at USC next season. Miller, 6 feet 2 and 255 pounds, chose USC over UCLA, Pittsburgh, California and the Air Force Academy.
Also, Capistrano Valley volleyball player Tobi Roquemore has orally committed to Rice. Roquemore, a 5-11 outside hitter, chose Rice over Colorado State, Arizona and Fresno State.
Roquemore, who plays for the Mission Valley Volleyball club, was the South Coast League’s co-MVP with El Toro’s Lesli Steinert. She led Capistrano Valley (21-5) to the Southern Section 5-A quarterfinals.
