What Governor?

Wasn’t the governor’s State of the State message supposed to be televised live (“Few Stations Agree to Air State of the State Speech,” Jan. 8)? At 5 p.m., I looked for it on Channel 11 and found cartoons. Channel 9 had the Lakers. On Channels 2, 4, 7, were the picture-perfect, boy-girl, ethnic-mix, politically correct newscasters.
Fortunately, I was able to hear the governor’s speech live on KNX radio.
The governor should be able to reach the citizens of California with his proposals for 1992. Pete Wilson is the governor, and he should have been seen and heard. His actions in office will affect every one of us--TV managers too.
