PREP SOCCER ROUNDUP : Doleman’s Goal Propels El Toro Past Mission Viejo

Ian Doleman headed in a ball off a corner kick to give El Toro a 4-3 victory over Mission Viejo in a South Coast League boys’ soccer match Friday at El Toro.
Mission Viejo (3-1-1 in league) had taken a 2-0 lead in the first half on goals by Chris Zambukos and Colin Lindzbarski. El Toro (7-5-3, 3-1-1) came back to tie it early in the second half on goals by Jason Dennis and Doleman. Mission Viejo’s Joe Christie scored on a penalty kick to put the Diablos up, 3-2.
Brian Riggs scored on a 23-yard free kick to tie it, 3-3, in the 26th minute of the second half. Doleman’s second and winning goal came in the 31st minute.
In other South Coast League matches:
San Clemente 2, Irvine 0--Gus Garcia and Carlos Rosas scored and Miguel Sixtos made seven saves for visiting San Clemente.
Capistrano Valley 3, Dana Hills 1--Scotty Shone, Jason Faulk, and Chris Wallace each scored one goal for host Capistrano Valley (14-3-3, 2-1-2).
In the Century League:
El Modena 2, Foothill 0--Jason Martinez and Brian Lopez scored for visiting El Modena (4-0-1).
Villa Park 2, Canyon 1--David Szekeres scored twice in the second half and freshman goalie Sean Bartko made four saves in his varsity debut for host Villa Park (11-2-2, 3-1-1).
In the Empire League:
Los Alamitos 3, Loara 1--Pat Lee scored twice and Donny Shockly once in the final three minutes for Los Alamitos (8-5-3, 3-1-1).
El Dorado 2, Katella 1--Forward Dan Molnar scored off a corner kick with five minutes remaining in the match for the sixth-ranked Golden Hawks (11-1-7, 3-0-2).
In the Freeway League:
La Habra 2, Sunny Hills 0--Caesar Arazia and Sal Garcia scored and Scott Taylor had two saves in his eighth shutout for La Habra (7-2-7, 3-0-1).
Sonora 4, Buena Park 0--Chris Fernandez scored two goals, Cory Witt and Todd Barnett had one each and Marc Entin made two saves to pick up his seventh shutout for Sonora (8-3-4, 2-0-2).
Troy 5, Fullerton 1--Jeff Domen scored three goals and Nick Ruzzi and Scott Ripslinger had one each for host Troy (5-2-5, 1-1-2).
In the Garden Grove League:
Garden Grove 5, Rancho Alamitos 1--Mark Hastings scored two goals in the first half for Garden Grove (4-6-2, 3-4-1).
Santiago 4, La Quinta 3--Tuan Dang scored three goals for La Quinta (8-7-1, 5-2-1). He has 17 goals in his past six games, and has 23 for the season.
In the Orange League:
Valencia 2, Anaheim 2--Armando Solis’ goal tied it, 2-2, for 10th-ranked Anaheim (3-0-1 in league) with 20 minutes remaining in the match. Valencia is 5-8-2, 2-0-2.
Western 2, Magnolia 0--Jeff Stodgel and Mike Shirran scored for visiting Western (6-3-5, 2-0-2).
In the Pacific Coast League:
Century 2, Trabuco Hills 1--Julio Bonilla and Jose Luis Lopez scored for Century (5-11, 2-3). Trabuco Hills is 4-1 in league.
Estancia 4, Costa Mesa 0--Greg Dill scored two goals for host Estancia (6-5-2, 3-2).
Laguna Hills 4, Laguna Beach 0--Giuseppe Lombardo scored two first-half goals for visiting Laguna Hills (12-6-1, 4-1).
In the Sea View League:
Saddleback 3, Newport Harbor 0--Juan Viscaino, Jose Escudero and George Guerrero each scored for Saddleback (8-4, 3-1).
Corona del Mar 2, Tustin 0--Travis Grant scored with 20 minutes remaining in the match for Corona del Mar (3-12, 3-1).
University 1, Woodbridge 0--Andy Fuller scored on a free kick from 25 yards out with 10 minutes remaining for University (4-5-1, 2-2).
In the Sunset League:
Ocean View 2, Fountain Valley 0--Chris Martin and Ryan Schomberg had a goal and assist each for visiting Ocean View (12-4-2, 5-0-1).
