Late-Night Blues

Since this was Johnny Carson’s last New Year’s Eve with “The Tonight Show” (NBC), I thought he would host the show. Instead, it was Jay Leno with the most boring program, which included a stand-up comic who wasn’t funny and other guests (Kadeem Hardison, Tracie Spencer) whom I never heard of. Awful!

I hope this is not a sign of what to expect when Leno finally takes over the show in May.
