Thunder Rumble shook off an early challenge from Speaker Phone and scored a two-length victory in Aqueduct’s $70,700 Count Fleet Stakes for three-year-olds.
The winner was ridden by Herb McCauley and covered 1 mile and 70 yards on the fast track in 1:43.
Dr. Unright was runner-up in the seven-horse field, three lengths ahead of Palace Line.
Thunder Rumble paid $7.00, $3.40 and $3.20, while Dr. Unright returned $3.80 and $3.60 and Palace Line paid $5.60 to show.
