Glendora : Zoning Notification Plan
At the request of Mayor Larry Glenn, city staff will develop a regulation requiring the city to notify residents within 2,000 feet of any property being considered for a denser residential zoning.
Glenn also asked that signs be posted on any property being considered for such a change.
City Manager Art Cook said that current rules require the city to notify only residents within 300 feet of the property, but that during recent hearings on the general plan, the city found that many people further away were also interested in zoning issues.
Cook said he expected to have a proposal ready by April.
