Duarte : Sobriety Checkpoint

Deputies from the Temple City sheriff’s station will conduct a sobriety checkpoint from 6:30 to 11:30 tonight in Duarte.
About 10 deputies will stop motorists at an unannounced location in a public education effort aimed at preventing motorists from driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The operation is part of a countywide program involving three other sheriff’s stations--Lynwood, Pico Rivera and Antelope Valley.
