Glendale : Development Hearing Reset

Action on a controversial hillside development was delayed late Tuesday when the developer’s attorney became ill and left a City Council hearing.
Ken Doty, developer of the proposed Sleepy Hollow subdivision, said he could not answer questions from the council without his attorney, who he said had “walking pneumonia.” Doty’s plan is to build 22 $1-million houses on a 30-acre site in rugged Glenoaks Canyon east of Sleepy Hollow Place and south of Glenoaks Boulevard.
Residents on Tuesday proposed three alternatives for 11 to 17 homes. Council members said they will continue the matter at a special meeting at 7 p.m. Feb. 12 at City Hall.
