Canceled Program

I heard today (Jan. 8) that the Congress has canceled the Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence Program. I feel that our school, Willow Elementary School, had a very good chance in winning the blue ribbon. Other schools had a very good chance too. I hope that the Congress reconsiders. If they don’t, hundreds of schools will be very, very unhappy. When my class heard the great news, everybody was yelling and screaming. But now everybody is sagging around.
