Walker Lewis has been named president of Avon’s U.S. direct-selling business and executive vice president of Avon Products Inc., New York. He has been chairman and chief executive of Mercer Management Consulting Inc., a division of the Mercer Group, which is owned by Marsh & McLennan. Lewis, 47, replaces E. V. Goings, who resigned late last month.
