Fluor Buys Back Building: Fluorh Corp. announced Thursday that it repurchased a building in Greenville, S.C., that the conhstruction/engineering giant sold to a group of investors in 1984. The facility is one of seven buildings on a 100-acre campus devoted to the company’s subsidiary, Fluor Daniel.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
The 425,000-square-foot building, which opened in 1983, houses 1,100 of the 3,500 Fluor Daniel employees in Greenville. “Our primary motivation for buying it back was the flexibility of owning our own building,” Fluor spokeswoman Debra Land said.
