Hillary Clinton’s Law Career
You’ve missed the point in your editorial regarding Hillary Clinton (March 18). Jerry Brown’s accusation that Gov. Bill Clinton has been using his influence to funnel state business through Hillary’s law firm is a major concern that needs to be elaborated on; especially by one who is running for President of the United Sates. Conflict of interest is not an appealing character trait for a President.
If the accusation is not true, it certainly was not expressed by either Bill or Hillary. Both have deflected the question to the correctness of Brown’s behavior.
This is how most questions posed to Gov. Clinton are answered--by political doublespeak. It’s very frightening that the American people can be hoodwinked by his expensive marketing campaign.
