FALLBROOK : 1 Dead, 2 Injured in Car Accident

A Vista man was killed Saturday night in Fallbrook when the car he was driving ran off the road and turned over in a ditch, authorities said.
Juan Carlos Rodriguez, 25, was declared dead at the scene, a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman said. The accident occurred about 10:30 p.m. on South Mission Road, north of Green Canyon Road.
Investigators said Rodriguez crossed into the opposing lane of traffic and crashed into the ditch. Two other people in his car suffered major injuries and were taken to Palomar Hospital.
