Bruce Springsteen + Robert Hilburn = !%$?!

Though long inured to Hilburn’s blind idolatry of unsavory and talentless rock performers, I am astounded at his starry-eyed adulation of the trite, banal and ungrammatical lyrics of Springsteen’s newest albums.
A few years ago, cantankerous clarinetist par excellence Artie Shaw pointed out that the Boss used the same guitar chord all through a previous album. I trust that he has mastered one or two more since then!
