Today: Edward F. Brodie, running for Municipal Court judge in Ventura County, will host a “meet and greet the candidate” barbecue between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at 6441 La Cumbre Road in Somis. Brodie, a deputy district attorney for eight years, is competing with two other attorneys, Gary Windom and Larry DeSha, for the open judicial seat. For more information, call 659-3542 or 386-4125.
