Motorist Arrested After Accident

ANAHEIM — A 48-year-old motorist from Cypress was seriously injured and arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driving after she crashed into three other cars about 1:50 a.m. Saturday.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Beach Boulevard.
Sgt. Paul Shepard said Anaheim police were investigating another collision at the same intersection and were directing traffic to proceed northbound on Beach Boulevard when Laura Lee Mendoza drove through the intersection. Her car, headed west on Lincoln Avenue, struck three northbound vehicles, police said.
Enrique Cueva Hernandez, 38, of Fullerton, who was driving a pickup, and his passenger, Olga Oliva, 29, also of Fullerton, sustained minor injuries and were taken to Humana Hospital-West Anaheim for treatment. Mendoza was admitted to UCI Medical Center in Orange.
None of the other drivers were injured.
