SANTA CLARITA : Transportation Panel to Be Formed

The city of Santa Clarita is forming an 11-member Citizens Transportation Committee to review development proposals and recommend traffic improvements.
The committee will also help rank traffic projects in order of importance.
A special meeting to discuss formation of the committee is scheduled at 7 p.m. Monday at City Hall, 23920 Valencia Blvd.
City Manager George Caravalho will interview candidates for the panel in June. The committee’s initial meeting will be in July, he said.
