EL CAJON : Child Molester, 91, Sentenced to Prison

A 91-year-old El Cajon man pleaded guilty Tuesday to two child molestation charges and was immediately sentenced to six years state prison.
The guilty plea and request for immediate sentencing was made by Jack Goings, the oldest person in San Diego County history to be charged with child molestation, prosecutors said.
Deputy Dist. Atty. Laura Rogers said Goings, retired from the merchant marine, molested a 7-year-old girl who was a neighbor.
San Diego Superior Court Judge Allan Preckel also fined Goings $500. He dropped the other 27 molestation charges.
