County Jail Visiting Hours Listed

SANTA ANA — The Orange County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday announced the new visiting hours for jail inmates.
The department has significantly reduced the visiting periods.
The new hours are:
* Intake/Release Center, 550 N. Flower St., Santa Ana, (714) 647-4666: Thursday-Sunday., 8 a.m.-6 p.m. (last sign-up permitted at 5:15 p.m.).
* James A. Musick Branch Jail, 13502 Musick, Irvine, (714) 837-0922: Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
* Theo Lacy Branch Jail, 501 The City Drive South, Orange, (714) 935-6952: Sunday and Monday, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
* Central Men’s and Women’s jails, 550 N. Flower St., Santa Ana, (714) 647-4666: Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. (protective custody, 1:30-2:30 p.m.; administrative segregation, 2:45-3:45 p.m.; juvenile section, 12:15-1:15 p.m.).
