Chicago U. Chief Retiring

CHICAGO — Hanna Gray, president of the University of Chicago since 1978, will retire in June, 1993, the university announced Tuesday. Gray, 61, a native of Heidelberg, Germany, is a historian who taught at the university from 1961 to 1972 and heads the school’s history department.
