Mission Viejo Advances in Soccer’s Dallas Cup

Erin Martin scored twice to lead the Mission Viejo Hurricanes to a 3-0 victory over the Arizona Shamrocks Tuesday in pool play of the Dallas Cup, a tournament for under-19 girls’ soccer teams.
Martin scored her goals in the second half. Mission Viejo led, 1-0, at halftime on a goal by Megan Murray.
Goalkeeper Tina Thompson had six saves in the shutout.
Mission Viejo will play the Dallas Sting today.
