* Timothy P. Sullivan has joined First American Title Insurance Co. as vice president-claims counsel. He has served as an outside counsel for the Santa Ana company for the past 11 years. In addition, Nancy M. Pettus and Patricia A. Thompson have been promoted to vice president in the legal claims department. Pettus is an employee benefits counsel, with responsibility for all aspects of employee relations. Thompson has been the claims administrator for the company since 1982.
