A 24-year-old Santa Paula woman who was pushing her 15-month-old son in a stroller was hit by a car while in a crosswalk, police said Friday.
Cindy Bolanos suffered moderate injuries and was in fair condition Friday at Santa Paula Memorial Hospital, the nursing supervisor said. Her son Daniel was treated and released.
Bolanos was taking her son to the Frontier Days carnival and was crossing 10th Street in Santa Paula about 8:10 p.m. Thursday when they were struck, police said.
The driver, Susan George, of Ventura was not hurt. George did not see them in the crosswalk and she has not been cited, police said.
