ALISO VIEJO : Newest Park Will Open on Monday

The grand opening of Argonaut Park, the seventh park in this planned community, will be held Monday.
The 4 p.m. event will be marked by a soccer skills demonstration at the 12-acre park’s sports complex, which will feature two soccer fields and a basketball court.
Argonaut Park is at the corner of Aliso Creek Road and Argonaut, between El Toro Road and Laguna Hills Drive.
In addition to the sports fields, the park will include a “tot lot,” jogging trails, picnic tables and open play areas.
It will be the third park to open in the community this year, following Hillview and Brookline parks, as part of Aliso Viejo’s yearlong 10th anniversary celebration.
