Two suspected guerrillas blew themselves up with a grenade along with three kidnap victims when they were surrounded by security forces, military sources said. A special anti-kidnaping unit, including police and soldiers, tried to rescue two ranchers and one of their daughters held in a house near San Andres de Sotavento, 310 miles northwest of the capital, Bogota. But when the kidnapers saw they were surrounded, one of them detonated a grenade inside the house, the sources said.
