Newport Beach’s Abrams Boys’ 14 Tennis Title

MIAMI — Geoff Abrams of Newport Beach won the boys’ 14 division of Easter Bowl Junior Tennis Championships, beating top-seeded Keith Brill of Columbia, S.C., 6-3, 6-0, Friday at the Doral Resort and Country Club. Abrams was seeded third.
In the semifinals of the boys’ 16 division, fourth-seeded Glenn Weiner of Cypress was eliminated by second-seeded B.J. Stearns of Seminole, Fla., 6-3, 6-4.
