Architects Institute Honors Cal Poly Dean

Marvin J. Malecha, dean of Cal Poly Pomona’s College of Environmental Design, has been admitted to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects for what is termed his “notable contributions to the advancement of the profession of architecture.”
Malecha is past president of the Assn. of Collegiate Schools of Architecture and the California Council of Architectural Education.
He is also a member of the Master Jurors Committee of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and is on the steering committee of Architects, Designers and Planners for Social Responsibility in Los Angeles.
