Keating’s Sentence
As one who has lost his life savings through the thievery of Keating, I am appalled that despite a jail sentence he will be fined only $250,000. That means that his family will continue to live high off the hog on money Keating stole from people like me, while I and many others who were defrauded live on the poverty level, heading for welfare that should rightfully be the condition of Keating’s family.
My feeling about crooks like him is that jail does very little good, but if they had to make restitution, that would make things a lot better for me and my kind.
