SUPER TUESDAY REVISITED: A redistricting fight in Ohio has transformed June 2 into something resembling a national primary, with contests in each of the country’s major regions. The Ohio hassle forced the state to move its primary from May 5 to June’s first Tuesday, joining scheduled votes in California, Montana, New Mexico, Alabama and New Jersey. . . . A total of 700 Democratic convention delegates will be at stake, a one-day haul surpassed only by the Southern-based Super Tuesday contests on March 10, in which 738 delegates were allotted. For Republicans, June 2 now offers the largest single-day bonanza, with 427 delegates up for grabs (420 were chosen on Super Tuesday).
