Your editorial trying to whitewash Noriega, alluding to the CIA, etc., is ridiculous. You’re right that it is “hard to feel very good about the decision.” Noriega should have been hung, drawn and quartered when we got hold of him. This devil portrayed what is evil, illegal and greedy. He is the epitome of the devil himself.
Just think what he has cost the taxpayers of America! We don’t care what the CIA or FBI did. They should have hung it on him a long time ago.
Our problem in America is that we’re too soft. We gotta nail these thugs--Hussein, Kadafi, Arafat, Assad and a couple more. Get rid of the pink glasses.
