The NBA fined five players a total of $7,000 for incidents that occurred during the final week of the regular season. Dale Davis of Indiana was fined $2,000 for elbowing Cleveland’s Henry James in the head. Andrew Lang of Phoenix was fined $1,500 and three Seattle players were also fined--Shawn Kemp, $2,000; Gary Payton, $1,000, and Dana Barros, $500.
