San Diego : Fleeing Robbers Shoot Motel Clerk

A motel clerk was shot Wednesday night by a pair of robbers who fired at him before they fled a Rolando motel, police said.
The robbers held up the Travel Time Motel in the 5400 block of El Cajon Boulevard shortly after 9:30 p.m., police spokesman Bill Robinson said.
But, before they fled, the robbers shot the clerk in his left arm and shoulder, Robinson said. The wound apparently came from a shotgun.
